Booking
Booking through our website requires the following steps:
- accepting the Terms & Conditions of rent by the booking party
- approving the booking by New Rent
New Rent may request additional information prior to booking approval. These may include: personal details, personal identification, driver’s license. - confirming the booking by the booking party
Cancelling your booking
Do momentu odbioru pojazdu Klient może anulować rezerwację Pojazdu ze zwrotem odpowiednio:
- Opłat wniesionych przy składaniu zamówienia pod warunkiem złożenia oświadczenia o anulowaniu.
- Rezerwacji, co najmniej na 7 dni przed uzgodnioną przez Strony datą wydania zamówionego pojazdu.
Payments
All payments can be made upon car pickup or via bank transfer at Bank PKO BP PL13 1020 5226 0000 6402 0637 4294, SWIFT:BPKOPLPW
Vehicle pickup
The car is delivered to a location specified in the booking form or agreed upon later.
Complaints
Complaints including personal and contact details, along with a description of the nature of complaint, should be sent to reklamacje@newrent.pl. We respond to all complaints via email or phone within 14 days of receiving.
Who can rent?
Everybody over the age of 21, with a valid credit card and a valid driver’s license issued at least 1 year ago, legally allowing to drive on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
Accident or breakdown?
In case of any breakdown, vehicle immobilisation, accident or other circumstances, immediately contact our support line at +48 791 050 890. Our staff will offer extensive information and assistance on all proceedings. Our support line is available 24/7/365 also for call outside of Poland.

Booking
How to book a car?
The easiest way is to use our online form. You need to specify the car segment, dates of pickup and return, extra equipment and provide your personal and contact information.
The booking will be confirmed via email (given in the booking form). If you do not have access to the internet, you can all us at +48 71 307 90 00. Other contact details are available on the Contact page.
What documents are required?
A valid driver’s license and an additional personal identification document (ID or Passport).
Can an individual (non-business) rent a car?
Of course! You need to be 21 years or older and have a valid drivers license since at least a year and a second personal identification document.
Can I rent extras, such as GPS?
Yes. We provide everything, that might come in handy on shorter and longer journeys alike: GPS, child seats, etc. If you want to book a car via phone or directly at our HQ, our staff will check the availability of requested extras and calculate the price. If you are using the online form, you can do it yourself. The price of extra equipment will be automatically added to the grand total.
Where can I pick up a car I booked?
You can pick up your car at one of our many branches across Poland. For an extra fee we cen deliver your car to a specific location i.e. airport, train station or hotel.
Can I pick up my car at the airport?
Yes. We deliver cars to all airports in Poland. Our branches are located at the largest Polish airports: Gdańsk, Kraków, Katowice, Warszawa, Modlin, Wrocław.
Can I book a car on the same day or 1 day prior to pickup?
Yes. If you need to rent a car immediately, contact us directly at +48 71 307 90 00.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. You can drive as much as you want.
Can the car be driven exclusively by the person who rented it?
No. You can authorise other drivers. Their details need to be provided at the day of pickup at latest. It is also necessary to provide their personal identification and a valid driver’s license. If you are booking via our online form, you can specify other drivers and provide their data therein. This will naturally make the pickup procedure much shorter.
I do not have a Polis driver's license. Can I still rent a car?
Yes. If your license was issued in one of these countries, you are free to drive in Poland:
Albania, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia i Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Central African Republic, Cyprus, Croatia, Cuba, Czechia, Denmark, DRK, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Grece, Georgia, Great Britain, Guyana, Holand, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Ivory Coast, Izrael, Kazachstan, Kuwait, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luksemburg, Latvia, Macedonia, Malta, Morroco, Monaco, Mongolia, Niger, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Moldova, Russia, Romania, San Marino, Senegal, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Tadjikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguai, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe.
If you have a license issued in USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and Turkey must also have an International Driver’s License.
Can I extend rent during its term?
Yes. If you want to extend by less than 24 hours, you can contact us at +48 71 307 90 00. Extension for more than 24 hours will an extra fee, which can be paid at the nearest NEWRENT branch.
Payments
What is a deposit?
It’s an amount that is blocked on your credit card for the duration of rent. If your card does not support pre-authorisation it will be billed. In both cases, the deposit is returned if the vehicle is not damaged upon its drop off.
Can I waive damage fees?
A fee is charged for every damage to the car if a collision or damage was your fault or the responsible party is not known. If damage is caused by another driver and you contacted our technical support line and followed their instructions, the fee will not be charged.
However, even if you are responsible for damage to the car or the responsible party is not known, the fee can be waived if you select the “Damage fee waiver” extra service upon booking.
